| Hung out with an old friend tonight...very nice...much needed. If you are reading this, thank you :) It's always interesting when someone speaks to your heart, confirming if you will things you have felt in your spirit. I don't need verbalizations to tell me I'm on the right path BUT God has a way of reassuring me at just the right time. My God is so amazing and I fall more in love with Him every day! I was challenged tonight by my friend, so for the next few days/weeks/months (haha) I will be digging into the life of Samuel.
I had a patient tell me today that he was never more at peace than when I was in the room with him. I told him that was because I brought Jesus in there with me. During therapy we talked about who Jesus was to me and all the things He's done for me. This eldery man told me he was doubting God and prayed that if He was real, He would send an angel to confirm His existence. Today, I was told I am an angel sent by God.
With that, I am ending my day...just wanted to say "Hi there" to all my xanga (and "real life") friends. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
| Sorry about that kids...it's been waaaayyy tooooo looooong! So much to share! Quick update:
I LOVE MY JOB!!!!
Even when sad things happen at work, I know I am where I am supposed to be. I love the hour drive every day, well 2 hours total- there and back. I love the people I work with. I got really sick 2 weeks ago- left work with 103.5 fever. I was so sick! I pulled into a local hotel in Arkansas, called my parents, and about 2 hours later my dad was there to take care of me. Perk of working at a hospital, I saw a doctor for free the next morning. My brother turned 18. My brother gets recruiting letters from Ivy League Schools (Harvard, Princeton, Yale). I am glad I'm through w/school. Oh, I discovered Ebay...waaay too much $$ spent there in the past 2 weeks! Oh well, it's worth it! My video ipod is keeping me company on the drive each day. I have another baby shower Saturday (1 every other week). My best friend is about to get married in Hawaii. I have the best friends in the world...they just all happen to live in different places. I am going to see Tyler Perry in Jackson.
For those interested, my Bible study starts Sunday at 4:30 at First West...if you'd like, I would love for you to come- let me know I'll get you details!!!!!
I'll give you a more detailed update this weekend, and get around to comment on all your sites :o)
| Hello all!!
Things have been super busy at work, both professionally and personally! We are getting new preemies in the NICU everyday, thanks to the opening of our women's center- we just got the cutest one from Little Rock! He's 3 weeks old and weighs only 2.2 pounds...he was a little over a pound when he was born! I could go on and on about all my kids, but I won't bore you!
My brother Caleb turns 18 tomorrow...Woah! He got a letter in the mail the other day from Harvard- I can't believe his junior year is almost over...I think he's way too young to go to college! Ha!! To think I barely turned 18 before I started my frosh yr!
What else...oh, I've been asked to lead a Bible study at my church, so for those of you attending 1st West, are female, and under 30...you'd better show up! Just kidding, well, kinda!
Got to go cook some supper; I'll be around to comment in a bit!
| Well, the butt pincher passed away yesterday. One of my twins in the NICU passed away early this morning. A 98 year old lady told me a few minutes ago she just wanted "the good Lord to take her home."
Sad? You bet! How greatful should we all be that we are alive and for the most part healthy! I am so thankful that in the good times as well as the not so good times that I have a Savior I can rely on. I can't imagine what it would feel like to live each day without hope...to think that this life is all there is! Working here has made me realize how truly blessed I am...and, if it was all taken from me, how truly blessed I would continue to be.
Father God, help me walk in wisdom as I serve You with all that I have.
